2023 Domaine Duclaux Condrieux les Caillets
Tasting Notes
A vibrant and captivating Viognier, this Condrieu shines with a pale golden hue. The nose is aromatic and alluring, featuring ripe apricot, white peach, and pear, accented by jasmine, honeysuckle, citrus zest, and a touch of almond. On the palate, it is rich yet fresh, balancing opulence with precision. Juicy stone fruits, candied orange peel, and a whisper of spice are lifted by vibrant acidity. The long, expressive finish lingers with peach blossom, minerality, and gentle creaminess. This Condrieu is already drinking beautifully.
