2021 WeatherEye Syrah

Tasting Notes

"Classic Syrah aromas of blackberries, peppery herbs, blueberries, bouquet garni, and some gamey, meaty notes all emerge from the 2021 Syrah Estate, a rich, medium to full-bodied, flawlessly balanced Syrah. With ample mid-palate depth, building yet ripe tannins, and a great finish." Jeb Dunnuck

About WeatherEye

Located at the top of Red Mountain, with the elevation providing a cooling effect; WeatherEye carefully selects clones, which are then planted in small-blocks. This strategic placement, coupled with a diverse array of trellising methods, is designed to extend the grapes hang time and maturation period. The result is a harvest that boasts not only intensified flavors but also a notable freshness and an array of non-fruit characteristics. WeatherEye has changed what is possible in Washington winemaking and is producing some of the best wines in the World.
