2020 WeatherEye Tempranillo
Tasting Notes
“The palate is very concentrated and deep with immense texture and finesse. Boysenberry and crushed mint flavors combine with bulls blood and stony undertones. This is insanely good wine that has brilliant complexity and is irresistible to consume right now. 96 points” – Owen Bargreen
About WeatherEye
Located at the top of Red Mountain, with the elevation providing a cooling effect; WeatherEye carefully selects clones, which are then planted in small-blocks. This strategic placement, coupled with a diverse array of trellising methods, is designed to extend the grapes hang time and maturation period. The result is a harvest that boasts not only intensified flavors but also a notable freshness and an array of non-fruit characteristics. WeatherEye has changed what is possible in Washington winemaking and is producing some of the best wines in the World.
