2020 WeatherEye Grenache
Tasting Notes
“Medium cherry cored with a watery rim in the glass, crushed red raspberry, mountain blueberry, candied cherry, Red Mountain herbs, Blood orange zest, and fresh linen emerge on the nose. An elegant wine that glides across the tongue and finishes with a stunning red cherry note all over the palate. 96 points. Highly recommended.” - International Wine Review
About WeatherEye
Located at the top of Red Mountain, with the elevation providing a cooling effect; WeatherEye carefully selects clones, which are then planted in small-blocks. This strategic placement, coupled with a diverse array of trellising methods, is designed to extend the grapes hang time and maturation period. The result is a harvest that boasts not only intensified flavors but also a notable freshness and an array of non-fruit characteristics. WeatherEye has changed what is possible in Washington winemaking and is producing some of the best wines in the World.
