2022 Doudet-Naudin Bourgogne Aligoté
Tasting Notes
A bright and lively expression of this traditional Burgundian varietal, offering a crisp and refreshing profile. In the glass, it reveals a pale straw-yellow color. The nose is clean and aromatic, with enticing notes of green apple, citrus zest, and fresh pear, accompanied by subtle hints of white flowers and a touch of wet stone minerality. On the palate, the wine is light-bodied and zesty, with a vibrant acidity that gives it energy and lift. Flavors of lemon, lime, and tart apple dominate, while a saline, mineral-driven backbone adds depth and precision. The finish is crisp and refreshing, leaving a lasting impression of citrus and chalky minerality.
