2022 Domaine de l'Ecu Taurus

Tasting Notes

Light straw reflections. Elegant aromas with notes of citrus, dried fruits, white flowers, almond and toast, minerality. Full opulent palate balanced with fine acidity and liveliness showing the wine's exquisite balance. Complex and powerful, this special cuvee partially aged in oak will reveal further depth. A wine gifted with great aging potential, a racy and exciting Muscadet for wine lovers. Great with fish, seafood, asparagus, cheese, and on its own.

Origin of Stained Glass Label: Notre Dame de Paris cathedral – France.

About Domaine de l'Ecu

Organic, Biodynamic, Passion, and Audacity describe the World-Class wines Fred and Claire Niger create at Domaine de l’Ecu. While most famous for Muscadet’s, the winery makes amazing wines of several varietals. Long a pioneer in Organic viticulture (well before it was popular), Domaine de l’Ecu has been Certified Organic since 1975 and Biodynamic since 1998 (Demeter and 2014 BioDyvin), on all 74 acres in production. The winery has renounced all artificial winemaking techniques to preserve the link between the wines, their terroir, and the unique characteristics of each new vintage. Wines are made without fuss, makeup, or anything else! Domaine de l’Ecu wines are present on the wine lists of the world’s most respected restaurants. You will find them in many terrific restaurants run by chefs who seek wines and produce that represent terroir and quality.
