2021 WeatherEye Grenache
Tasting Notes
"Soft, refined and plush, this delivers very concatenated red and dark fruit flavors alongside coffee grounds and sagebrush tones. Totally stunning and generous in its fleshy youth, enjoy now and over the next twelve years. Drink 2024-2036" - Owen Bargreen
About WeatherEye
Located at the top of Red Mountain, with the elevation providing a cooling effect; WeatherEye carefully selects clones, which are then planted in small-blocks. This strategic placement, coupled with a diverse array of trellising methods, is designed to extend the grapes hang time and maturation period. The result is a harvest that boasts not only intensified flavors but also a notable freshness and an array of non-fruit characteristics. WeatherEye has changed what is possible in Washington winemaking and is producing some of the best wines in the World.
