2021 Andremily White Cuvee
Tasting Notes
"Tasted out of barrel, the 2021 White Cuvee offers a killer bouquet of ripe tropical fruits, honeyed flowers, citrus oil, and toasted bread as well as a deep, concentrated (no doubt due to the drought) style on the palate. This ripe, sexy, yet pure and flawlessly balanced white should be snatched up by readers. 97-99 Points” - Jeb Dunnuck
About Andremily
Jim Binns, formerly Manfred Krankl's assistant at Sine Qua Non (SQN) winery for 12 vintages, played a crucial role in managing all aspects of SQN during his tenure. He then dedicated himself fully to Andremily, a venture that began with an opportunity from Manfred. This opportunity involved taking over the prized White Hawk Vineyard in Cat Canyon, a source of contracted fruit for SQN, which Binns had been familiar with since joining SQN in 2005. Alongside this, he and his wife Rachel, sought additional vineyards like Larner in Ballard Canyon and Alta Mesa in Cuyama Valley, forming Andremily's foundation. In 2020, they expanded further by acquiring Slide Hill Vineyard in Edna Valley.
Andremily, committed to excellence in viticulture, focuses on producing top-quality fruit, limiting yield, and ensuring balanced crops. Their hands-on approach extends to meticulous sorting and fermentation processes, before in-house bottling. The winery's name, Andremily, is a tribute to Binns' children, Andrew and Emily, reflecting the family-oriented ethos of the brand and symbolizing the family's involvement and passion for winemaking. Andremily produces some of the finest wines in the World.
