2014 Champagne Augustin Air (Magnum)
Tasting Notes
Air is a harmonious champagne with finesse on the palate and lightness that sharpens the taste buds. A well-rounded cuvee with red apple, pear, jasmine and brioche aromas and flavors. The palate has a creamy texture with a long finish.
About Champagne Augustin
Owned by Marc and Emmanuelle Augustin, the cuvées of Champagne Augustin stand distinctively apart. They encapsulate not just the characteristics of a terroir, a grape variety, a vintage, and unique craftsmanship, but also resonate with the essence of their origin – the locale, the fervor, and the individual behind their creation. These champagnes are a profound expression of life. They embody a potent energy, reminiscent of the four elemental pillars: Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. Biodynamic and organic methods are applied in all phases of what they call “coeur-viculteur” (winemaking from the heart) – where everything is done from the heart with a passion from pruning, trellising, harvesting, pressing, winemaking, resting on lees, disgorging, and shipping; producing energetic and amazing cuvees.
